Just orded my 2 man particle bivvy and waiting for it to arrive and cant wait to use it for an all night fishing and camping trip at my local foreshore, fishing night tide and next morning tide, iam a bit concerned about the way the floor is attatched, could extra velcro be added to give the floor a bit more support to the sides.

Lots of Whiting when it became dark.

i have one of these for camping in the caravan in winter, no heating on in near zero degree`s and ill start to get too hot and have to open the zip up.

Do you realise that winding line on the spool whilst the drag is spinning is the worst thing for line twist.

Had this bivvy for 3 years done upto 72 hour sessions in it,can not fault it personally,the hood however is a must 👌

just stuff it, it is so much easier.

The long strap goes side to side pulls the bivy in to the shape its really quite simple to put up

😄I think I saw you guys arrive as I was leaving (you parked next to me) I didn't manage any mackerel, but had about 12 dogfish early in the morning!

I have had a few in March before. Not full strings 1 or 2 here and there

Is it normal for chesil to catch mackerel this early?

We were out of Brighton fishing over a wreck catching some huge pollock and few mackrel turned up that were no bigger than the slow jigs we were using.

I was at Abbotsbury Thursday night till Friday 1pm and caught Bass, Dogs , on Friday everyone on the beach was trying to catch mackerel but no one caught nothing, the water where we was was coloured but down your end it looked pretty clear , but well done to your wife she knows how to catch

Does the door have duel zippers, so it can be zipped up from the bottom ?

Just searched for 16ft beach rods and this popped up. I fish surf Beaches in Ireland, in moderate conditions 60 yards would be the furthest cast. But when it's pushing in a swell of 12 ft plus or even double you need to hit far as the fish don't come in as close. 4 foot walls of foaming surf hitting the bank at high tide. Hope you don't mind me asking what would you recommend me at a budget price. I have been lure fishing for year's. I've good old 13 ft century tip tornadoes and conoflex rods. But I'd like to try an affordable fixed spool rod.
